Installazione di GLPI Agent

A partire da ottobre 2023 la versione di GLPI è stata aggiornata dalla versione 9.4.5 alla versione 10.0.9.

La nuova versione di glpi pubblicata su https://glpi.unimore.it richiede l’installazione, sulle macchine della propria sottorete, del nuovo glpi-agent. Il glpi-agent sostituisce fusioninventory-agent.

Anche se la compatibilità con fusioninventory-agent è mantenuta, quando installerai il nuovo agent, se sulla macchina è presente fusioninventory-agent, questo sarà rimosso e sostituito dal nuovo software.

Installazione su Windows

METODO 1: Installazione con script BAT

Scarica lo script glpi-agent-deploy.bat. Esegui il file cliccando con il tasto destro del mouse e scegliendo "Esegui come amministratore". Nel corso della procedura di installazione ti verrà richiesto di inserire il TAG del tuo dipartimento.

METODO 2: Installazione manuale

Puoi installare il GLPI Agent manualmente seguendo la seguente procedura:

  • Scarica l'agent dal sito ufficiale scegliendo la versione opportuna in base al tuo sistema
  • Lancia l'installazione e accetta il percorso di installazione predefinito, poi scegli l'installazione "Tipica"
  • Nel campo "Remote target" devi inserire https://glpi.unimore.it
  • Non spuntare l'opzione Quick installation
  • Puoi proseguire con opzioni successive senza modificarle fino a che non arrivi a Miscellaneous Options nella quale puoi inserire il TAG del tuo dipartimento
  • Non modificare le opzioni successive e completa l'installazione

METODO 3: Installazione automatica attraverso una GPO

Questo metodo d'installazione è il più comodo, ma presuppone che la macchina nella quale vuoi installare GLPI Agent sia joinata al dominio UNIMOREAD.

Con questo metodo l'installazione di GLPI Agent avverrà automaticamente joinando un client al dominio UNIMOREAD.

Controllare il funzionamento dell'agente e forzare l'inventario

Il GLPI Agent si installa come servizio di Windows e pubblica la sua interfaccia sulla porta 6234.

Per accedere all'interfaccia di GLPI Agent apri un browser sul PC dove hai installato il programma e collegati alla pagina http://localhost:62354

In questa pagina dovresti vedere la versione di GLPI Agent installata con un link che ti permette di forzare un primo inventario. Inoltre vedrai indicato quando avverrà la prossima scansione.

Installazione su GNU Linux

  • Scarica lo script di installazione per redhat/centos/debian/ubuntu
  • Posizionati nella cartella che contiene lo script appena scaricato ed esegui il comando seguente come root (o anteponendo sudo) per procedere all'installazione avendo cura di inserire il tag della tua struttura
perl glpi-agent-1.7.2-linux-installer.pl --server=https://glpi.unimore.it/ --tag=inserisci-il-tuo-tag--install --runnow
  • Se vuoi avere informazioni su altre opzioni possibili dell'installer puoi usare il comando
perl glpi-agent-1.7.2-linux-installer.pl --server=https://glpi.unimore.it/ --help

Installazione su MacOS

Per installare GLPI Agent su MacOS segui la guida ufficiale avendo cura di aggiungere nel file di configurazione l'indirizzo del server https://glpi.unimore.it e il TAG della tua struttura.
