Installazione di una nuova sonda Fluke

1. Windows XP: edizione in inglese

3. creare l'utente Agent con password ****

4. password di amministratore ****

5. rendere l'utente agent amministratore

6. mettere l'auto-logon dell'utente agent Click Start, click Run, and type control userpasswords2. Clear the Users must enter a username and password to use this computer check box. Click Apply. Enter the user name and password you wish to automatically log on with, and then click OK. Click OK again and you're all done.

7. Se windows XP attivare la local user authentication Administrative Tools -> Local Security Policy Trovare "Network Access: Sharing and Security model for local accounts" e metterlo come "Classics: user authenticate themselves"

8. Installare Optiview Console Remote Agent Only (servono 250 MB) licenza **** Remote Agent for Master Ip Adress 155.185.1.132 Service -> Startup -> Automatic agent/**** Security -> SNMP **** **** -> OptiView ****

9. Installare SQL server Client Tools Client Tools Only -> Management tools -> Enterprise mamager

10. Disabilitare il salva schermo e settare il Power Scheme: Always On

11. Installare l'SNMP

	You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network,      network policy settings may also prevent you 	from completing this procedure.
  	1.  Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs, and then click Add/Remove Windows Components.
  	2.  In Components, click Management and Monitoring Tools (but do not select or clear its check box), and then click Details.
  	3.  Select the Simple Network Management Protocol check box, and click OK.
  	4.  Click Next.
  	5.  Insert the respective CD or specify the complete path of the location at which the files stored.
  	6.  SNMP starts automatically after installation.

12. Configurare l'SNMP

  	1.  Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel.
  	2.  Under Administrative Tools, click Services.
  	3.  In the details pane, right-click SNMP Service and select Properties.
  	4.  In the Security tab, select Send authentication trap if you want a trap message to be sent whenever authentication fails.
  	5.  Under Accepted community names, click Add.
  	6.  Under Community Rights, select a permission level for this host to process SNMP requests from the selected community.
  	7.  In Community Name, type a case-sensitive community name, and then click Add.
  	8.  Specify whether or not to accept SNMP packets from a host:
         		* To accept SNMP requests from any host on the network, regardless of identity, click Accept SNMP packets from any host.
         		* To limit acceptance of SNMP packets, click Accept SNMP packets from these hosts, click Add, type the appropriate host name, IP or IPX     address, and then click Add again.
 	10.  Click Apply to apply the changes.

13. aprire le porte SNMP (161 TCP e UDP)

14. abilitare la connessione da PC remoto per l'user agent (terminal service)

15. aprire le seguenti porte per il friewall

       1030 (udp e tcp) per SQL
       1434 (udp) Master Agent vs Remote Agent
       1695 (udp) Optiview
       2539 (udp) Remote Agent Hallo
       6001 (udp) Master Agent Listening

16. Andare nell'Enterprise Manager SQL server e mettere nel “Network Configuration” , TCP/IP settare la porta 1030

17. Creare l'utente Maintain nell'Eneterprise Manager con privilegi di db_reader sul OVCAgent

18. Modificare l'auteneticazione del SQL serve da Windows only e metteral Windows a local user

19. (andare ad editare il file /etc/freetds/freetds.conf e lo script b-fluke.pm in modo da includere la nuova sonda)
